KITTY LITTER FACE MASK
When you get past what it is used for.. its amazing!!
Its best for acne/oily skin.. deep cleans pores and tightens your skin!!
Love it
If you go have a look at ingredients on clay face masks and acne cream like Clearasil you will find the kitty little ingredient - Bentonite
Have a look at the uses section - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bentonite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-x6hCI9X0g
You will pay quite a bit in a spa or if you buy it pre made.. cat litter costs next to nothing.
MAKE SURE YOU GET UNSCENTED
Enjoy

I really want to know too!DreadstarMonstar wrote:i'm intrigued....does it work?? how well?
It's the last thing I'd think of to use as a face mask....except maybe the actual cat poo

You buy one that say 100% natural clay.
It works great. Better than spendin a fortune and its fun to make your own.
You can buy the same clay online sold specifically for making home made masks.

That's pretty cool as long as my cat doesn't try to poop on my face.

Re: KITTY LITTER FACE MASK
Bentonite is a strong chemical - it strips the skin of all oil and as such forces the skin to produce more oil to combat the fact it has been stripped... thats why clearasil works, and then your skin gets worse when you come off it... (similar to how head and shoulder causes more dandruff when you stop using it)
For oily skin type menthol clay masks and washes are excellent as they pull excess oil and dirt off but dont strip the skin completely - Dermalogica do a really good range - their dermal clay cleaner is amazing, i left the salon i worked in 3 years ago no and my huge £30 bottle is still going strong despite 4 pea sized amounts being used each day when washing, wash once to remove make up etc and then repeat to actually clean the skin)... I think you can buy smaller bottles cheaper on ebay etc... (apologies for the waffling)

I use egg face masks now! It is very good for oily skin. Whip up some egg whites and leave it on for 15mins. It draws the oil out of the skin and leaves it with a nice glow.
I finish it off with an ice cube rubbed over my skin made form green tea. They close the pores right up.
