I just made normal cakes, cut the top slightly, put a little bit of nutella in (not too much as it gets quickly sickly) put the cut half back on as it sticks and covered it with peanut butter.Lorny wrote:Those look nom! Did you just plonk a dollop in the middle of the mix?
It's really nice and something I'll be making again soon and simple too!

Ah I see, maybe it's the angle making me think it was magic! They look so good. I can't make cakes, but you've inspired me to just have a fat spoon with chocolate spread and peanut butter.night_wolf wrote:I just made normal cakes, cut the top slightly, put a little bit of nutella in (not too much as it gets quickly sickly) put the cut half back on as it sticks and covered it with peanut butter.Lorny wrote:Those look nom! Re: Foodspiration! The "What I Ate Today" Thread :D
Haha, I never used to be able to make cakes, now I just do it off the top of my head, it's because I coated the top in peanut butter so you can't tell that I've cut the top off and glued it back on with nutella.Lorny wrote:Ah I see, maybe it's the angle making me think it was magic! I'm going to attempt to make truffles at some point this week. They're soooo easy, just take a shit load of time. I'd probably eat the mix before they even made it to solid little balls!

Re: Foodspiration! The "What I Ate Today" Thread :D
You can actually put a filling inside a cake prior to baking, as long as the case is big enough and you're careful! Just put a dollop of cake mix in, carefully spoon your filling in the middle, then cover with more cake mix. I recently made ginger cupcakes filled with ginger jam with this method.night_wolf wrote:I just made normal cakes, cut the top slightly, put a little bit of nutella in (not too much as it gets quickly sickly) put the cut half back on as it sticks and covered it with peanut butter.Lorny wrote:Those look nom! BACON EGG AND TOAST CUPS HOW
I'm not so fond of eggs but I think my boyfriend would cry for joy if I learned how to make these

With the help of a muffin pan
It's really simple to be honest. Grease the pan and cut little bread circles to sit in the bottom of the cups, line the sides with streaky bacon, crack your egg into the middle and bake at a medium-high temperature until the eggs are set.
I love eating breakfast food for dinner.
