nearly a week to go and the weather aint looking great. Whats the backup plan regarding food if it rains? (ie do we still bring picnic-foods)??
EDIT-just read back and we decided probs go to the tea room place. I guess that answers that.
and PLEASE!!!!-can we go to Scruffy Murphy's????? please please please ? lol

Hi ladies
I wont be able to make it now.. had a £180 vet bill yesterday and the cat now needs £500 of surgery, so anything non essential is cancelled.. pretty much so is food for the month, so sadly wont be able to attend!
have fun all!

Yar it is a bit quiet!
Anyone know what the crack is about the picnic? Should I bring picnic-y foods with me? Or buy them down there? Or are we not having one? Questions, questions, questions...

I think we're going to have a picnic regardless of what the weather's like. We'll just find somewhere to have it indoors if necessary. I'm going out to buy some yummies on Thursday

Yey!
I am beyond poor after having to fork out for 4 new tyres, not earning any money until the end of Sept, and my MOT being next month. Add into this my and my OHs anniversary, a festival and 2 mates birthdays this month it does not make for a rich Sami!
I can't remember the last time I had so little money!

Do you want to give some the time of your train, I believe there is a key word missing from your sentence
I think Madii has put the specific meeting place in the first post? Outside Millie's cookies

If you have sugar, butter and flour in the house you can make shortbread But don't fret about it, I'm sure no-one will mind.

I wouldnt worry about it i am also a little picky/weird about food so ill be bringing a fair bit of veggy food and just eatting that proberly. My boyfriend also loves veggy food and my other friend does too so we will proberly provide for ourselves. ^_^
As much as i love cooking im not very good at it lol. So i dont know if ill manage to get anything baked before the meet ill have a try anyways.

oh my god Im so excited now-so glad more ppl are coming than I realised. Im willing to share my foods with anyone who wants to risk my homemade pitta-pizzas (they will break your teeth though-im no masterchef!!) My train is costing me £30 , cant really be affording to do this either but it's so out of character for me to get out and do stuff like this so Im going for it lol

Is anyone else a tiny bit anxious about meeting lots of new people at once?
