Re: Possible East Coast meet?
I have plans to head to Michigan the end of May/beginning of June. I've made the drive from MI to Philly before so that's cool. Just depends on the date

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
*hmm* Would people be cool with a late May or possible early June date then? Gives everyone a chance to save monies and school will be over by then. [It's been so long since I graduated that I forget about classes. ]
It also seems the general consensus agrees there should be shopping time and some sort of club/dancing/drinking. I am cool with shopping in Chinatown, as was suggested, since it is convenient to those who may be coming in on the bus. Other than that, there are no solid plans so I'm definitely seeking input so I can create some tentative schedules or what have you. Just so everyone has an idea of what's going on to save up and plan make-up/hair/outfits accordingly.

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
sounds good, i'm just concerned about the dates, baby's due may 31st i would really love to try and come out and meet you girls, i need people time lol. if you all can plan for mid june that would def. work out fine. and i could def. go for shopping since i'll need the new clothes lol.
but like freaky ferret i cant drink yet either, so its best to see how old the youngest is that wants to come. (im 20 so clubs are good )

I'm personally better off either early June or after June 16th, my graduation is the 14th I think...

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
Hey, I am all for waiting. Makes for more time for better planning.
Also, I want to say that personally I am not a big fan of drinking and so that's not really high on my list of things to do. As I said earlier, it would be nice if everyone could be involved in all activities; it's unfair for someone to feel left out b/c they're not 21.
Would anyone be interested in art? Every first Fri of the month, the galleries in Old City allow people to come in and check out the art for free.
There might be some burlesque going on [depending on the date and all of course] so that's an option too.

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
Honestly I'm not that big of a fan of drinking either, I just thought it would be important to mention as so many clubs in Philly are 21+ due to restrictive state liquor laws.
I would love to go to some galleries for First Friday! I have honestly never been to any First Friday events...and I have lived in Philly my whole life and been invited out to them many times! Shame on me.
I think it would be fun to take people shopping on South Street as well, I know South Street is mad lame these days compared with like 10 years ago or more but for out-of-towners it is still a lot of fun, especially all the stripper stores and the few indie businesses that are still hanging on.
Plus, if we went to South street we could all go in the Magic Garden and freak out my ex-boyfriend who works there

Excellent. At some point in the next few weeks, I will post a few things up for voting to make a tentative schedule and of course nail down an actual date.

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
Right now I'd say pretty much any weekend in June is open. If anyone has a request for a specific date just speak up.
A bit busy with some things right now, but should have some info posted here so we can try to organize this a bit. The fact we've come this far is exciting.

well looks like Im not going to be able to go this year. The money I was supposed to get is not coming. Long story short, I was supposed to participate in a pro-domme session with 9 other women, and it turns out it was all a hoax. Lucky me.

Re: Possible East Coast meet?
That's a bummer.
Right now, there's an awesome Cezanne going on at the Art Museum, and there are endless other events I've seen being listed in the papers. This city really comes alive when the weather is nice.
In any event, thought I would throw out some dates to see how many people bite.
Fridays
12, 19, 26
Saturdays
13, 20, 27
Sundays
14, 21, 28
Also, I would like to think an early afternoon meet-up time of around 1 would be ideal, so that there is plenty of time to walk around, shop, eat, etc.
