That is a good idea, but angelaar hasn't been online since january the 10th. i believe scarlet lady had already tried to contact her with no joy.

If someone PM's me with a list of people who haven't sent their agreed items out, I can run it past the rest of the team whether we could have a list of 'non performing swappers'. I'd have to have everyone's agreement though before it could go ahead so no promises just yet!

I know it's worked well for other selling/swapping communities I'm part of. It deters people from being so lax about the whole thing because they end up named and shamed. Plus it's an easy reference point for anyone wishing to start up a swap. A prior warning system.

The only problem is Angelaar is the only one who has the list of swapees and noone can get hold of her. I think we're going to have to do this manually and say who we were meant to send to, whether we did and then whether our partner recieved it.

On TSUK selling comm the Secret Santa list is known by 3 people...just in case.
Those who don't send are banned from ever selling/swapping again and normally a few of us are 'back-up Santas' who are willing to make/buy extras to send to those who got Scrooged.

The main thing i found annoying is this is the first swap i've ever done as i was always worried about not getting anything back but i finally plucked up the courage to join

I know it's always a risk that is taken i just don't even know if something was sent and got lost or not sent at all

I'm so sorry i've not been around to sort this out, i've been pretty ill recently, and over run with uni and work, so not had time for an internet presence, I have however regulary checked in to myspace, facebook, and hotmail, and no one promted me about any problems, else i would have made it a priority to check back over here. I can only appologise for how badly this has gone towards the end, and why i didn't think of this suggestion made my halocaustic here, i duno, as it's clear common sense

But i will send PMs to see who sent/recieved tonight, i'm sure from the replys we can sort of figure out who hasn't sent. I'm gonna check on the uni computers to see if theres a record of it on my file.

If its any help, I sent to FUNKYRAPUNZELS. I have no idea if she got thou because i never recieved word back from her saying she did. At the same time, i haven't recieved anything to say she didn't get it. Biowaste sent to me and i did recieve it. Wearing the stitch socks as we speak

To be far thou, things do crop up that can mean swaps are late or go missing. I know its the responsibillity of the sender to inform their partner. For example, my valentines day swap has gone missing in the post and i only recently found out that it wasn't recieved by my partner. I contacted her and apoligised and i'll be sending her a new package asap. Would that mean i would be banned because it didnt get there on time or would i be forgiven in my attempts of making it up to her? I'm just slightly confused as to where i would stand. I'll never send anything non-recorded again, i know that for a fact now! x
