I'm currently in the process of lots of craft swaps with sellers on Facebook and really enjoying it, so would anyone like to do one here?

Items can be anything handmade or crafted, so Jewellery, wood crafts, fabric crafts, hair accessories, bath items, confectionery items, You name it!

I think everyone can make *something* So I hope you'll want to take part

02/02/11, OK, we've ended up with an odd number, does anyone mind if I swap with 2 people so we can still keep this an open 2 way swap? So 2 of you would be sending to me, and I'd be sending to two of you? If not, will be posting up your pairs later today & sending out your partner's survey

i really do want to join in, but i just have a bad feeling i wont be able to contribute much to my swap partner due to my time constraints
i dont want to be sending anything out late or struggling to get things finished so i dont know... it might be bast if i sit this one out, much to my dismay

Sign me up please also, is it one item? Or a few? i think there needs to be a few like rules about howmuch we send so that one person don't put loads into it and doesn't recieve it back

I make things out of fimo, jewellery, dolls etc I'm currently in the middle of making a fimo BJD
I've only given my stuff away as gifts before cause I'm awfull at taking photots and am too scared to list on etsy

I agree Monique, I'm struggling to think what exactly the perimeters should be as some items have are low cost and high in term of time taken to make them, and visa versa :/

Yeah I definatly agree. Im going to do more then one item, because I love crafty things, so maybe the rulles could be 1 large thing OR 3 medium OR 5 small items? Then you an send more if you want (like one large item and one small) but you can't expect to get it back? TBH i think everyone will be generous as otherwise i cant see why you;d enter a crafty swap if u didnt enjoy making!

ETA: this is just my opinion, but i think the deadline should be a little later, as people may need to buy the materials and then make the items. but as i said, my opinion xxx

A slightly later deadline would help just as sometimes waiting for materials can take a while (I usually stock up on ebay as its cheaper than locally)
By 1 large item do you mean large in terms of length of time to make or in size?
I already have in my head a basic idea of want I want to make (wish I could start now! but I'm assuming the questionaire will contain things like fave colours etc so I don't want to start till I'm paired up so I can make something perfect.
But anyway it won't be huge (probably 4-5 inches) if I make what I have in my head but it will take a long time.

Btw Monique I'm having a real hard time not eating the sweets I've been collecting!

I agree Monique, those sound like good suggestions, along with "send what you would be happy to receive"

mid march sounds good to me. i crochet alot and it's time consuming and i work a full time job. so extra time is a good thing
