Also, there are a lot of things that we have in the UK that exist in America but under a different name/branding. I think it'd be easier for anyone in the US to find something that we don't have over here. It seems to be anything with a crazy amount of colouring and addatives!

A tip for UKers buying for Americans: Sweets from the old fashioned type sweet shops always seem to go down well

so true. we dot have many of those around anymore... in my home town we had one shop that sold what we call penny candy still and that was always exciting to see stuff like that.

I call them penny sweets
but most penny sweets have gone up to 2p! thats like 100% inflation and is mad imo lol
I was worried non vacuum packed sweets wouldn't be o.k? But if it's ok to send weighed out sweets I'll go grab all the old style sweets if people don't mind that kind of stuff?

Though I'm one of those who will eat sweets I drop on the floor as long as the sweets and floor are dry! haha it's the rule

I would think bulk candy is fine. I wouldn't mind receiving it.

i didnt even think about that either! i was totally gunna go to the candy stores and grab some of everything in the baggies.. (the weighted stuff) i'm glad you said you dont mind

mine will be shipped out on the 1st since that is payday i'm excited! i hope you'll like it bunches!

Yay i'm glad you don't mind! I can go for all the oldschool faves!
by oldschool I mean my faves, urghh I just don't do something I don't like so I cant be sending toffee as I know nothing about it!

we got hit with some snow so my trip to the big mall got pushed back, but i plan to go out tomorrow night and get it all.... will be shipping on time

Found a proper old sweet shop in my little town hidden away, it sells all the classics that i havent seen for years. Im so happy and i spend almost all the allowed money in there. Im so excited for synful synthetics to get it, i hope she loves it as muchas i loved picking my favourates to go in the shoe box!

Agh that mega sucks, i spent the entire time here that it snowed moaning about how it was interfering with my eBay addiction.
it's bad enough that it's cold atm thank god we don't have snow
Hopefully going to post tomorow I have all my bits just need to go bother my mother to see if she has a better box than me to ensure the safety of the precious one

luckily i was smart enough to order boxes ahead of time from the post office, they deliver them right to the door for free its great!
