Cant upload an avatar

I've treid doing that for ages and its not working

I've tried re-sizig my picture with photobucket but it still wont work. what do I do??

How big is the size of picture? It has to be a pretty small file size to be upload-able.


Is it saved as a gif? That generally makes sure it will fit. Also needs to be within the dimensions 90x90 (I think), so you should check that too.


P.s. If you can't do it, post it here and I'll do it for you.

I cut it down a bit to better fit the dimensions. If you want the extra bit back, I'll redo it.

Oddly I found that only saving it as a .gif instead of a .jpg worked.

Having trouble changing my avatar as well. I used to be able to resize my photos and save them as gifs. However, my updated version of Photoshop doesn't want to let me do it that way. Would someone mind helping me out if I send them the pic?

I do a 90x90 photo in photoshop. Then I open that in the Preview program. I resave the picture in Preview as a .jpg in a low quality file format. Works for me every time

still giving me a hard time. no matter what i try i can't get it under 14k, even thought there is no difference between this photo and others I have used. grr.

Grew impatient and chose a different photo. GIF option came up and everything went smoothly. The only thing i can think of it the original image i was trying to use was somehow different. Thanks though. This one will do.

Select your photo, Set the avatar size to 90x90, save the image to your computer, upload it on here and your sorted

The site that Love Bunny suggested was good, but when I went to submit the edit image, it wouldn't let me. Cause it said the site was viewed as an attack site and wouldn't allow it.


Resizing it and saving it as a .gif worked though.
