So, I have a question for you guys... What's your perfect ratio for doing dread kits?
What I mean is, for a set like say viewtopic.php?f=29&t=13508 (the most recent set I've seen ) it looks like it's two parts first main colour, two parts second main colour, two parts contrast colour and one part accent.
SO! Does anyone else have a formula for making up kits that look cohesive and interesting, but not too busy?
Cheers!

Re: The Perfect Ratio
Personally I favour blending the whole set through to tie everything in together. If I'm making a colourful set I'll have 25% plain dreads and the rest will flow through whichever other colours I'm using. If I'm having accents I'll have 20-25% of those
I'm generally not keen on solid colours together without accented/blended dreads to soften the look; although when installed in block it can look pretty swish!
Very interesting question btw x

To me it's about the colors, how do they speak to each other?
