World of Wool colours

Post by Vex88 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 7:16 pm

I'm looking to buy some more roving but I feel the colour charts on WorldofWool.co.uk arent the best so I wondered if anyone had actual pics of the roving they'd bought from there?
I know theres a review post so thought there'd be a good chance that people could help out.
I'm mainly looking for blues, greens and greys(though i think there's only one grey)

I have 2 brown colours that I could put up if this gets turned into a proper colour chart thread.
Not sure if its in the right place, sorry.

wingham is a bit rubbish with their colour chart too. I have one from sara's texture crafts...it's pretty accurate.

Thanks, they have pictures of their wool on the site already. I was asking for world of wool as their pictures are just boxes of colour so hard to judge ,I think.
I didn't know about wingham though so I might just buy from there next time, they seem to have a big range. thanks :)

Aha but their pictures are wildly inaccurate as Sarah said (Wingham that is) so I was saying if you wanted to buy from them I could take some better pictures of quite a lot of their colours ;)
