Fav Hair for a Sew In?

So I've rocked my locks and falls for several years now. But I'm just wanting to change it up and try extensions. I have super thick, curly hair so an extension system where my own hair is still loose wouldn't really work. I think that leaves me with just a sew-in as the only option.
I've got tons of KK, but I'm guessing that's not going to be the best choice for this. What's a good hair to go with? I'm clueless.
