Post by AmandaCouture » Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:43 pm

(sorry for the url's i havent figured out how to put in pictures right)

and whenever i try to put in a full clip in set of human hair extensions, they always look really wierd. i can never get my hair straight enough to look like its my natural hair, so its an obvious fake. :x is there any way that i could make it look like its my real hair? or am i just clip-in challenged?

If you get the clip-in hair wet and elt it air dry, it'll dry to a wavy texture and not be perfectly straight.
That might blend a little better?

just as bingeandpruge said, I wear clip-in hair-extensions (human-hair), and at first they also looked really fake, but I wore them one time when it started to rain like hell, and I took them out and let them drie, and after that they looked really natural because the were still straight but just a bit wavy, which made them look so much better!! And as I can see on the pic, you're hair is pretty short..Maybe you can just teeze you're top hair-layer just a bit so you get a little bit more volume, which also makes it look more natural ;)

I thought some of the answers on how to make extensions not so obvious in my post might help.

I find the best way to make the extentions look natural is to layer them heaps. My hair is quite choppy and layered (a little longer then yours but not much) so I have to layer the extentions just as much..... You can keep the bottom row long but put lots of layers into the top row and it will look a lot better :)
