Synthetic clip in victory rolls?

I'm thinking about making some clip in victory rolls but I'm a bit unsure where to start and how to go about making a set that can just be clipped in and out. The front sections of my hair are a bit short so they often end up a bit too small. Any help would be very much appreciated!

If using human hair, lots of heat, curling, and hair spray will probably get you there. You may want to follow the advice given here to hide the weft--> viewtopic.php?f=19&t=16128

I'd love to see the results! I did a quiff with weft before, and it worked out okay.
