ChelseaGirl style clip ins??

Post by AbbieLaZe » Thu Apr 28, 2011 10:45 am

Hi All, Remember these little babies.

viewtopic.php?f=64&t=385

Made by Chelsea girl. OMG!! I love the look of them. I was wondering, do you think that the weft used can be made with KK hair? I bought a heap from IKS and I've tried the weft tut, however, I jut cant get it right. Im kinda struggling, and Im just wondering if anyone else has had any success with these types of clip ins, and making the weft yourself etc??

Thanksies for your advices in advance!!

What part of it are you struggling with? I can't imagine that using handmade KK weft would be much different than using premade weft :x

I've made those type of clips many times but always with store bought wefts. Are the other wefts more rigid at the base? If I remember correctly they're made using caulk to hold the hair so I would imagine it would be more rigid and possibly bulky.
just my 2 cents!

Thanks for replies ladies. I think my main problem is that I SUXK at making my own weft at the moment.
I know it takes practice, I'm still a noob though, so I wont give up.
Just need to waste some more hair trying to get the sewing machine method right. LOL

Yeah, if you're sewing them it should work out ok as long as you don't end up with a bulky track :)
