question about streaks, fringe etc from human hair
Okay so I just bought a bag of human hair from my local beauty supply store and its just one long strip or track or whatever its called. I want to make some some dyed clip in streaks but wasn't sure where to start I guess.
I have looked at all the tutorials about how to sew wefts, but I was wondering from this hair do I just cut strips out and can I just sew in the clips to that strip or do I have to sew my own?
Does that make any sense?

Yes, you can just cut the wefts and sew them onto the clips.

okay good. I thought maybe the hair would fall off or something. Should I put some liquid gold at the ends or anything?

Sweet thanks. I just didn't want to have spent $35 on some hair and then cut it and it all fall everwhere. LOL

To keep the ends from fraying, you can apply a small amount of bonding glue. Or fold the ends over the clip [about 1/4 of an inch or so] and sew them down.

I've heard a lil' super glue will also work for the fraying. ^_^ladykay wrote:how did your stuff turn out? have you finished or are you still experimenting with this? lol thank you for asking the glue question! i was wondering this also. because i dont have anypixychick wrote:Sweet thanks.
