Getting dreads to spike out a little?

Post by kezerb » Wed Sep 03, 2008 6:04 am

Last night I got a 6-8 inche kit installed on myself and I looked like sonic the hedge hog but after sleeping on them they are flat :(
How do I get back the sonicness with out reinstalling?

I don't know how to help you, it seems like they've "settled down" already lol. That sounds like cute hair though, I'm itching to get my short dreadies in!

You could try rubberbanding them together at the roots to get them to stick up a little more. It sounds like they were originally sticking up from the sections being tight, so they went flat as soon as they relaxed a little.

Aww it was really cute too because it's baby pink and light blue like candy floss :(
Guess I'll have to tighten them in the mornings
