Amount of Skinny Dreads?

Ok so I was wondering... How many SE's should one plan on having to install for a full head? They are very skinny, like a pencil or a little bigger. How big should I make the sections?

Also is it normal to get only 5 dreads out of a pack of hair, esp when they are skinny like this?

If they're SEs, you'll need around 100-120

For SEs, you should be able to get more than 5 skinny ones from one pack of hair. I can usually get around 10 from a pack of Modu, more from other brands. 5 skinny DEs is about normal, again depending on the brand (and how much is in the pack).

i wear skinny, usually pencil thin dreads but i rarely even use 100 and i wouldn't say my head is small. i normally use around 80-90 but it's always better to have more than you need than less
