Naturals to twisties

Post by Sugarfalls » Tue Nov 01, 2011 2:23 pm

Has anyone ever attempted recycling natural style dreads into twisted synths? I'm unsure if they would hold very well. I was thinking of giving them a bit more of a backcombing to try and help them stick together a bit more after being twisted.

I've done it before. Mine worked out fine.

Sometimes naturals are made with much less hair than normal, so the twisted dreads could end up a bit skinnier than intended. But other than that, I say go for it! :D
