neon green (really intense):
emerald or forest green (I believe it's the same shade by a different name.
But it's more intense IRL, there is actually NO colour like the real thing in Photoshop.no kidding.)
mossy green-it's a mixed colour with some white and yellow thrown in.
don't buy it, it doesn't seal anyway:
I used forest green and neon green in this kit, forest on top of the transition, neon green next to it.
sorest green again against lightest green:
get the love?

Re: KK colour comparison chart
whilst we are on the subject of greens... I hate it when customers ask for colours from photos, I am really bad at identifying them T-T
So can anyone help me, I need to know the greens in this photo, also I can't really tell if the lightest shade is actually green or a yellow... its bright X_X
I can name petrol green.. and black thats about it. I know the medium colour is actually a blend but not sure which
Thankies girls

A bigger photo would be helpful , its kinda hard to see the colors .
I think the lightest/brightest color is Neon Yellow .

I knew the girl in the photo looked familiar
Its Cathy / MiasmaHair .
Apparently Brandalynn made those dreads.
I'm sure if you'd ask Brandalynn she could tell you exactly which colors were used .

I would say neon yellow, neon green, neon green+emerald green blend, petrol green and black.

Re: KK colour comparison chart
Hi ladies! Just after some advice.
Basically, I'm naturally a ginger, and all the dreadkits I've made have been in this colour. I've recently dyed my hair red and I have a hankering for some dreads. Does anyone know which colours available from buyhair would be the best match for someone with the same colour as the forum banner? There's a couple I've spotted but I'm unsure if they would match.

Re: KK colour comparison chart
it's kind of complicated, cause the pic has several shades depending how the light stikes it.Thorne wrote:which colours available from buyhair would be the best match for someone with the same colour as the forum banner?
but I'd reduce it to antique red, ruby red and cinnamon.

Hah, yeah I should have specified! *duh*
But "Cherry Red" definitely looks like the best option! Thank you

Just a head's up, the last time I brought Cherry Red it was nowhere near the swatch, much more pink. They changed the formula for the blend and have't updated the swatch.

Re: KK colour comparison chart
looking for dark purple advice. I'm looking for kk that matches SFX Deep Purple after it's lightened just a bit and stopped looking black, and/or a slightly bluer Directions Plum (like when you mix in a bit of Directions Violet)
In other words i need kk that's medium to dark and slightly more towards blue-purple. I definitely DON'T want something that's pinky/reddish purple, more towards the middle of the spectrum or falling slightly into the bluish range. Im confused by some of the swatches on here as well as who carries what brands such as BNG, jazzy etc. as far as Buyhair and Afrocare and IKS's and DiversityHair and DreadViolet's purples *head spins* I already know the Afrocare Orchid shade is WAY too pinky for me, so what's the difference between BH's Deep Purple and Afrocare's Deep Purple, and what brand is it really? How do those compare to Jazzy's Grape and BNG's Dark Purple? I'm rather fond of the two darkest shades on the right side of this pic what brand IS that? i'm unsure though since it looks MUCH more blue than the left-most purple in this pic and also the next to last one here: and I am not sure if it's *too* blue lol. Can someone post pix of these side to side so I can tell the tonal differences, and also describe how they compare to SFX Deep Purple and Directions Plum/violet on human hair?
sorry that got so rambly lol. Looking for a relatively quick answer as I need to place an order for kk by the end of the day

One of these two dark purples is Jazzy's Grape - I think it's the second from the right.earthymamawitch wrote: I'm rather fond of the two darkest shades on the right side of this pic what brand IS that?
Another one might be something from Sensationnel.
LA Trend deep purple is a tiny little bit lighter than Jazzy grape. Both of these are lighter and more blueish than orchid.

Re: KK colour comparison chart
Jazzy Grape is now alot lighter (more a match to the second from the left), as they switched the name... Jazzy deep purple is a better match to that, and as dreadviolet said, LA trend deep purple is a tiny bit lighter.dreadviolet wrote:One of these two dark purples is Jazzy's Grape - I think it's the second from the right.earthymamawitch wrote: I'm rather fond of the two darkest shades on the right side of this pic what brand IS that?

Both LA Trend and Jazzy are predominately UK/European brands, much like BNG is a predominately US brand.
