Attaching Fur To Boots?
Does anyone know how to do this? I want to make some new platforms and I don't know what I should use to actually make the fur stay and not have to worry about it falling off.

it might just be better to buy furry boots :/ as i think it will end up looking patchy and odd + wreck the boots like Acorn just mentioned

there's a few things you can use if you're just gluing funfur...something like all purpose/white glue would work just fine, that stuff has massive strength (it holds wood. seriously, it's strong) or something like 'fabri-tac'
there is a brand of glue called 'alenes' (or something close to that..sorry) and all of their glues are very good. they have like, leather and suede glue, gem glue, fabric glue..etc...they usually sell it in walmart and craft shops
if you do use white glue (or anything drippy) just don't gloop it on..spread it around smoothly with a popsicle stick or something, and pretty fabric on pretty firmly, holding it or using some old tights or elastic bands to hold it on (white glue requires clamping....but who clamps boots? just use elastics!)
you'll be golden
boot covers are easy too, if you dont' want to permanently glue your boots

I don't want to make leg warmers, because these boots are like 10 inch platforms and my leg warmers don't go all the way down. XD so I want to try this on an old pair first and see how it goes, then glue craft fur around the edges of the outside of the boot.
Thanks for the tips iamdolleyes!

You could always make som extra-long legwarmers...
Otherwise, the best fabric glue I've come across is Gutermann fabric glue because it doesn't just stick fabric to fabric, it sticks fabric to pretty much anything. Not sure if it's available in the US though.
