my sisters bloke used to lie down with his head next to a step and glue his mohawk flat on the step using superglue - then scrape it off with a knife...

but this was in the 80s
i think things have moved on slightly since then

Drop the superglue, and use Knox instead. Combine the previous technique with a hairdryer afterwards, and you'll be okay for a few days.

A hairspray factory.

But seriously, super strength gel or hairspray and backcombing works wonders :P

I use Got 2 B Glued hair glue on my son's mohawk. Put a bit in your palm, add a drop or two of water, apply to DRY hair, comb it in, blow dry with head upside down. (make gravity work for ya) Hope that wasn't too much. :i9:

I'll ask my sister how she does hers. I think she just backcombas and uses hairspray to make big ass liberty spikes.

I used to put my mohawk up with backcombing and Got2Be freezespray. ^-^ Or Knox gelatine. Either way works like a charm, my hair was huge, gah I miss it. :i3:

silly.

listen. dont was your hair for 4-5 days. or 3 days, whatever, it needs to be greasy (thats a must if you want to lower the damage your doing to your hair)
separate parts on your head.

backcomb. hairspray. backcomb. hairspray.

and do that to all of your hair. its easy punk style and it will be OK, TRUST ME. I know when Im talking about the mohawks, I have a deathhawk so its double thicker and harder to put in the air. and yes, you need to think that the worst thing you can do to your hair is to back comb it. hairspray glue it.

but looks awesome and its just a lifestyle. I wont complain if my hear falls out, I have a nice head XD

I'm loving all the different ways people have kept their hair up!

My friends and I usually used plain white school glue, like Elmer's. The off brands at the dollar store were cheap as hell, it dried quickly, was water soluble, and non-toxic. The only problem is after a day or two it has a tendency to flake a bit.

Egg whites work very well too, but the trick to that is to beat them with a for for a bit until they get stiff and fluffy. Kind of like making meringue, but for your hair!
