OCC lip tars?
Got my student loans in and now I can finally make a purchase I've been dying to for months - the OCC lip tars. Not bad at around £7 each and the last a long time. But I'm torn between a few shades.
I really don't want to have to choose but I can't have them all. Probably a choice between Grandma, Anime, Katricia, Rx, Traffic, and Botanical. Not sure how to narrow it down D:
Probably won't be botanical for the fact that it's a bit too OTT.... maybe. Eep!
Incase you haven't seen them, they're here http://www.occmakeup.com/liptar.html
Anybody own any and would like to recommend a colour? Anyone want to share which ones they'd choose? Anythiiing that might help me narrow it down please haha

I'd like to know how close they are to the colours on that site because that pale brown is a colour i've been looking for far absolutely ages! A opaque cool brown with no red tones
you may have just saved my life!
some of those colours are lovely - I like Anime too

If you do, could you let us know what the staying power is like? I love some of the colours but I don't like forking out for lipsticks that don't stay put.

Re: OCC lip tars?
Those look so good, only none of the colours would suit me. There was one where they had mixed a few colours together to make it, but then you couldnt reapply during the day!
I need a nice pale pink with slight peachy tones to it.

try vintage pink and asia by rimmel or the mauve one from the new matte collection by revlon, they're some of my favourites and they come out like this ^^Lorny wrote:Those look so good, only none of the colours would suit me. In theory you wouldn't need to re-apply because of their staying power.Lorny wrote:Those look so good, only none of the colours would suit me. There was one where they had mixed a few colours together to make it, but then you couldnt reapply during the day!

Seen the Queen of Blending video before, got her subscribed, but gonna watch again. But that blog was very helpful!
I'm torn between traffic, anime, rx, and katricia. Don't want to buy 4 right now. Probably 2. But arrgghh decisions!

ZOMG! I've been looking for an intense blue like RX for I don't know how long. Seriously I was about to put a thread up here about it until I saw this. I've never seen such bold and intense colors. Bontanical is absolutely gorgeous!

Re: OCC lip tars?
I bought them
RX, Pageant, and Anime.
Only got a picture of RX though...
Slightly darker without flash, but couldn't get a good picture!
EDIT: I will say though.... if you have lip rings you need to wait for it to dry before you put them over your lips, because it gets stuck to them D:

Really late reply! Was without a laptop for a long time.
They stay quite well, feel a little strange at first, and do bleed a little. But VERY good

Re: OCC lip tars?
I have wanted some of these for soooo long. I am dieing for Grandma, Anime, NSFW and Melange.. Im sure there is more but I am trying to cull the list a little as they are a tad more exxy here in Australia (Although compared to other brands quite reasonable, considering the pigment levels) They get fantastic raves in the makeup world, which just fuels my want of them!
