Help - eye cream

I have never used an eye cream but recently have felt like the skin around my eyes could do with a little more moisture and attention than the rest of my face (damn this getting older business!). The trouble is, I actually have no idea what to do with the stuff. Does it go on under, over or instead of your normal facial moisturiser?

Eye cream should be used instead of your normal moisturiser. Your eye skin is only about 4 layers, so regular face moisturisers are apparently too much for them.
