Bright, long lasting, matte lime green eyeshadow?

I looked on the boards and online and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find a bright, neon lime green eyeshadow, whether it be a pressed powder or pigment.. one that works well (obviously :p !) it doesn't matter what brand. I haven't been able to find one anywhere in person, and I'm running out of places to look online. Most I've seen seem to have glitter or shimmer and thats not what I'm looking for.
Roughly this color http://theadventuresofglittergirl.files ... -green.jpg
Halp?

I finally found one that looks right, stargazers neon green... but I've never tried any of their products and I've heard extremely mixed reviews on it. Has anyone tried this shadow? :? http://cgi.ebay.com/STARGAZER-EYESHADOW ... 2561bbf1da

I have no positive recommendations, but Stargazer's neon eyeshadows are a massive load of crap and a huge waste of money!

so I've heard  MAC's sassy grass is kinda close but it looks like it was limited edition and I can't get it anywhere :/ MACs space green pigment is exactly right it seems, but you're not supposed to use it near your eyes? :? Soo.... I guess thats out too. Bleh!

You could try Sugarpill's Midori? It' not lime exactly but it's about the nearest I've really seen and they have good reviews.

Yeah I think I might have to, I think thats the closest one I've seen so far that doesn't fall off/cause blindness  Kryolan has a uv green shadow but its so hard to find it.. all the websites that sell kryolan just look incredibly sketchy and you can only get certain colors on ebay? I'm not entirely sure where I should be trying to find it  And I don't know how well it works without a base, either.

MAC Kelly Green pigment has a slight shimmer but it's VERY close to the Green Space pigment .
The shimmer is barely noticeable.

I can do a side by side skin swatch for you if you like.
They're both two of my favorite MAC pigments

That would be radtastic! :D I can't seem to find the kelly green though... its one of those ones thats listed as 'rare' which I take to mean I won't be able to find it :/ When/where did you get it?

Also, weird sidenote.. I have a Bloody Mary shadow in red, you can get it at Hot Topic so I definitely thought it would be crap, but its actually pretty amazing, its the bright red I use on a basically daily basis, blends easily and doesn't come off, in fact it almost stains your skin  .. but I got the same shadow in white and I think black, and they were absolute garbage. They have a bright green, exactly what I'm looking for basically, but I'm afraid it will be crap like the other two and I just lucked out with the red... has anyone tried that one? :?

one of my friends used to use the stargazer neon green all the time and she managed to get it to go on well and last by using a stiff pencil brush and 'pressing' the colour on over primer/foundation rather than sweeping it iykwim?

she would use loads though because she had to layer it up to get it to come out bright enough, though she did say it became loads easier after the shadow was dropped and shattered inside its case (which happens a lot with stargazer)

just wanted to throw it out there that it is possible to make it look halfway decent, but involves a little more effort than your average shadow... and possibly purposely breaking it!

yes, I have a few shadows that I need to first press on with my fingertips  it sucks but its better than throwing them out... I just would rather buy something knowing it will work without me having to mess around with it so much!

I have an INSANE amount of makeup

I'll do a skin swatch for you tomorrow when there is natural light ( dark here now ).
Will also check my stash & see if I have any sample jars left :)
Knowing my luck it will be exactly what I need but unavailable anywhere... the MAC website doesnt have the kelly green anymore and I can't find it anywhere :C

oh noes, even kelly green looks like it might be too shimmery D:
I love shrinkle! And I checked her ebay first as I've bought some kryolan off her before, but I couldn't find the Kyrolan uv green pressed powder, I don't know if she carries it, I didn't see it. I've had a few bad deals lately and I would so much rather buy from people/sellers I trust. I found this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 602_304652

The bright green is exactly the color I want, and is matte like I want, but I'm afraid it will go on too powdery. A lot of UV eyeshadows I've used are like baby powder and just fall off unless you really pack them on over a sticky primer, making them a lot harder to blend and manipulate and whatnot. I'll probably just wing it and buy this one and hope that a) I don't get ripped off and b)IT WORKS! Thanks everyone!

And I would definitely still be interested in buying a sample of the kelly green off you; even if it doesn't fit the look I'm thinking of its lovely *-*

Yeah that stargazers shadow sucks!

I have the 88 pallet from coastal scents and that has a pretty bright matte lime green

I've been thinking about buying that, I've heard mostly good but then some very bad. Are all the colors in it generally good?

Have you tried our very own Halocaustic's website? http://www.halocaustic.co.uk/ (click on the 'wear' heart and then cosmetic pigments)

She sells MAC and Ben Nye pigment samples, had a quick look and she has the Kelly Green and Green Space in her inventory pictures, Worth a look?

I've never had an issue with stargazer shadows, I have always used them wet though. I have the 120 eyeshadow palette & again, I've never had an issue with it, there are some awesome shades in there. I used it yesterday with UPDD & had to scrub my eyes (literally) the get the eyeshadow off.

I love the kelly green but it does look too shimmery... but grassy looks like it might be pretty close! Maybe a tad too dark though. Its so weird when a color is this hard to find. Theres a million shades of blue and pink and even red, so why is neon green so hard?

Its extremely difficult to find a good lime green shadow without shimmer
which is why I use Green Space on my eyes although you aren't supposed to lol

heheheeh yeah I read of people saying they did, I just don't wanna risk it, especially since my vision is already a little fucked up from an eye infection when I was younger  I probably shouldn't test it.

I keep going back and forth between liking shimmery eyeshadow to liking matte, and right now I want evey color in a nice solid matte... and green is literally the only one I've yet to find. I don't own them all but I've at least seen them... that green still eludes me though. Titties
