Make up setting spray

Post by Miss_Panda » Thu Nov 04, 2010 11:29 pm

Has anyone used urban decays make-up setting spray, and no if it's any good? can it be used on eye make-up like eyeliner etc because my eyeliner over a certain amount of time manages to smudge under my eyes. I no people said you can use hairspray to set make-up but i don't really want too..

Personally I use elf make-up's version, it's £3.50 which is cheaper think the UD one is £17 and I love it. It sets my make up and doesn't smudge it :) you have to use it when your make-up has dried though. As for eyeliner as long as you put a primer or concealer before under your eye it won't budge. Elf also do an eye primer for £1.50 and it's not let me down yet! Hope this helps!

All most of them are are glycerin, water and scents so it's infinitely cheaper to make your own. Three parts filtered/deionised water to one part glycerin in a mister bottle, bingo.

It should be fine for sensitive skin as well as there's no fragrance in it

what bomber says!

I mixed my own about a year ago now, I used glycerine, rose water and mineral water. I think I did three caps of each rose water and glycerine and then topped up with mineral water and put into a small atomiser. Works a treat.

Where can you buy glycerin though? Just at a health and beauty store?
