Creme de la Mer

Post by cyberloxshop » Wed Sep 15, 2010 7:16 am

This has to be one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive creams) on sale today.

I, as I'm sure other people are am intrigued by the claims they make about it. I have read many a review online on this cream. I wondered if anyone has any reviews on it here they would like to share. I know you can get smaller pots on eBay for a 'reasonable' amount, but I thought I'd ask here first before taking the plunge! :)

I used the handcream and I rate it as utter crap.

I looked at the ingredients of the face creams and again, cheap petrochemical ingredients in the main...then their 'secret' special one/s.

It is just difficult to rate it as worth buying, however, if you really want to try it, buy it at a dept store and ask them if you can return it if you react or it doesn't work. The answer should be yes.

Some reviews on the net, some good some bad. Sounds like a rich cream so you probably are best to have very dry skin to use it.
I put a mix of positive and negative.

Nope, I read it at the counter in Selfridges about 2 years ago. Maybe the company's website will email you them?

"While the ingredients of la Mer are pretty much kept a secret, I did manage to find a few lists on line, where people had basically typed the list in from their own jar. I found this list 3 times, with slightly different typos (so I think people were typing it in on their own), but the lists were all identical."

I wouldn't buy it... It's filled with cheap ingredients that is bad for your skin.. Clogging pores, drying it out, could give you eczema looking skin.. It's horrible. How can they sell this at the price they are?? You would do better using butter on your skin........
