Real dread help...
My flatmate has asked me to do him a full head of real dreads and while i know roughly what to do I would rather be sure but I cant seem to find any tutorials on here. Can anyone help me out with a link to one? I know there are different methods too *confused* lol

This is the most comphrensive page of natural dreadlock information available in my opinion, have a leaf through and you should find all the pointers you need..

I just thought I'd point out that the knotty boy method uses a LOT of wax and that can make dreads sticky and the best way I can think of describing it is "candle-like" (thankfully I saw people with dreads from their method before dreading my own hair and made the decision to steer well clear)....the live journal group is really really helpful though, I've used that a lot since dreading my hair

I also recommend the get_up_dread_up memories. I read through them all before I started dreading my hair, and even now that mine are about 7 months old, I still go back to read them.

I agree with Lollipop, knottyboy is NOT the way to go.
