Okay so, maybe this is a weird question, but if you dilute developer [for bleach] with water, will it make it a lower power and still be totally fine? (Like if you have 40, and want it 30, etc)
A couple years ago I saw somewhere this girl say that she works at a salon and thats what they do all the time, but i'm not sure cause thats the only time ive ever heard of someone doing that
Thanks lady people c:

Well thats super nifty Do you happen to know the water to developer ratio..? Like, in my head I think i'd be something like 1 part water to 2 parts dev to get 30 to 20?
OH. And what if you mix 2 different developers together? Same brand, but different volumes? :s

Unfortunately, I can't answer your other questions. From what I remember, if you want 40 volume cut to 20, add just as much water as developer. As far as mixing developers goes, I don't know.

Thats okay :p I mostly wanted to know about the water and developer thing Thanks that helps me a lot c:VixenSingsBlack wrote:Unfortunately, I can't answer your other questions. I've wondered for years and now I actually kinda wanna put it to use cause I don't wanna buy another bottle >_< Especially when I can just add water to what I have! ^_^
Ehh.. I've tried that before and it didn't work very well :s I would try again, but most of my fringe and my roots are just like how I want. So I think it'd be kinda hard to just wash around all that ._.DreadstarMonstar wrote:Why not do a Bleach Bath?
I'll most likely try that again next time I want color out though
Kinda wishing I would have thought about it more before though ._. T'was washing my hair like crazy for a week Should have added some bleach! /shakefist @ me for not thinking about it more ¬_¬
