Hello!
***VERY LARGE PICTURES ALERT!*** Sorry...
I am a new member and thought I'd post some pics of what I did today when I got bored!
I used a cheap 88 colour pallette purchashed from eBay, a white Rimmel eyelineer pencil and Rimmel Black liquid eyeliner. I wish I had also bothered to put on some mascara, but, hey-ho!
Let me know what you think! Maybe I'll do some more 'face-art', as I have dubbed it...
YIKES!
Aaaannnd one with glasses for fun!

Ooh! Thank you, lovelies!
I think the colours came out more pastel as it's a cheap set - seriously, I really loaded it on! Maybe I'll try moistening it first next time and see if that makes the colours more solid.
I'll put pics of my latest dreads up soon. Got them yesterday! First set in about 4 years. They are lush!
Loving your work!

Re: Make-up looks show-off thread -Please post products used
here are a couple of very very VERY simple looks I did the other day. I edited them slightly so that the makeup itself was true to life, but it made my skin look weird and orange Photographer I am not! But the makeup is whats important and at least on my monitor they look pretty close to real life.
Blue and green look! Theres some purple that showed up a lot more in real life but not in pictures. Damn shimmery colors!
Eyes:
Urban Decay primer potion
Aromaleigh "planetearth" loose powder (blue)
Sugarpill "Hysteric" loose powder (purple; I got this as a free sample ages ago and its lasted forever. best stuff ever, seriously!
No-name green shadow, "261 Green Peace"
Bloody Mary white shadow
Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner, "blackest black"
Make Up Forever Aqua Smoky Lash mascara
Face:
MAC Studio Fix NC15
And a green and purple look, woo!
Eyes:
Urban Decay primer potion
Sugarpill 'Hysteric' loose powder (purple)
Aromaleigh "estranged" loose powder, foiled (green)
Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner
Make up forever aqua smoky lash mascara

I've just bought a palette from Sleek, Curaçao, and i'm trying to learn how to put on some colours on my face and not look stupid. I've used all the greens in the palette + martini.

I have used: Benefit Boi-oi-oing concealer, GOSH Lift Me Up! foundation, Illamasqua brow cake, powder blush in Kiss and powder shadow in Vanian, Stargazer eyeshadow in Blue Gold, Concrete Minerals loose shadow in Temptress, a black eyeliner pencil, Rimmel 1000 Kisses lip liner in Dark Tulip and some generic dark burgundy lipgloss.
I am also in love with headwraps, I haven't washed my hair in three days and no one can tell!

Love it! I need to practise my blending skills, I have really deep set eyes and no matter what I do when I try and apply eyeshadow beyond my lids(which are practicaly non existant anyway) I end up looking like I have been punched

I pretty much never post here, I find it so hard to get a photo of my make up :/ any tips?
This is a crappy webcam, but yeah tried something a bit heavier today. Its old now so worn off a little.
MUA primer (not very good at all ladies)
Illamasqua rich liquid foundation in 115 and the translucent powder to fix.
Shadows are all from the cool tones palette (costal scents stylee from ebay)
Maybelline liquid foundation and gel liner
Blush is light pink from my 180 palette
Eyebrow duo from ruby and millie

have you ever tried using hard candy sheer primer? I don't usually use a primer but I have had a lot of luck with it. You need very little and if you put it on your eyes, even if you get hot n sweaty, you makeup won't crease with that primer under it.Mkatsi wrote:I pretty much never post here, I find it so hard to get a photo of my make up :/ any tips?

This is mainly for Liz as she wanted to see the eyeshadow I bought from Models own:
Models own Anthracite & Phantom black cream eye shadows.

Purple and creamy white shadows from Sleeks curacao palette!
+ mascara and eyeliner. I've used the same eyeshadows on my lips.

The lighting wasn't fabulous, but I thought I'd post this anyway.
I used mostly Inglot and Make Up Store colours, Illamasqua glitter/Shimmer from their new range, Kryolan and 3 sets of fake lashes.

This was my halloween makeup, Im debating whether or not to make a tutorial, the effects are all home made strait from the kitchen, no synthetics or laytex. im proud of that. But lets get the ball rolling, shall we?
