Forum rules
Any show offs - not hair related - go here!

1) You must keep posts PG13.
2) If your pics are likely to be considered a little 'saucy' (sexy / suggestive shots are fine- so long as they are arty!) put NOT WORK SAFE/ NWS in your title.
3) When replying to a post, remember this is NOT the critique section.
4) Comments like " I love your eyes/ my god you are hot" are not helpful! Include them but please comment on the item/s being shown off too!
5) This Show Off section is only for showing off non hair related products, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

okokokok I got really excited because the other day I accidentally drew the best profile I've ever drawn. I SUCK at drawing people and I'm pretty pumped at how well this one turned out. Its just a rough sketch of a character I made for a roleplay. Its not that great, but it doesn't look horribly misfigured either like my people usually do :i2:

i draw people all the time, i find that hands are always an issue for me, as with many other peopl i know!
i cant draw hands on paper, but weirdly i can draw them perfectly in photoshop with the good ol' pen tool... ¬_¬

im working on a new piece at the moment that im planning to do something a little different with, shes all photoshopped though!

this is the last sketch i did, not great but it killed some time on my suuuper long dinner break in work
i like her face, little different to what i usually do
might do a coloured version at some point....

Image

This is one i did when i was going to do a series based on all the 'holidays', but i only managed to get Halloween done!
modeled on my friend Clare, since shes an absolute horror fiend and Halloween is her favourite time of the year!

Image

sorry for the massive pics guys >_<
drag them up to the address bar to see them fully... photobucket is messing me around with the re-sizing...

I can not get photoshop to work right for the life of me. Everytime I try theres at least one crucial tool thats all fucked up, and I have to go digging though the files to delete the preference file, and then by the time I get the tool working right I don't even wanna bother. The pen tool will NOT work. I know for a fact its not me because I used it perfectly fine a few years ago right off the bat when I took a class on it. TECHNOLOGY HATES ME

I dunno its the newest one and my brother just got it a month ago or so. Honestly theres only problems when I use it. Its just like how every time I'm driving my car and I get mad that turn signal noise thing starts going "TICKTICKTICKTICKTICKTICKTICK" nonstop when the signals not even on! Seriously, only when I'm mad. My mechanic says theres absoultely nothing wrong. So I think I'm just doomed to never use technology or machinery.

But, your pictures are fantastic! I love the hair on the second one. CUUUTE :i2:

some kind of weird magnetic force emanating from your body that makes computers and cars go nuts??

but thank you hun, i dont get enough time to do any real drawing anymore so it takes me MONTHS to finish things sometimes! I used to do a lot of freelance illustration for peoples websites and the like but i had to stop because i think telling someone its going to take six months to finish their logo is a bit daft!

speaking of, here is one of the last ones I did, for our own Jenn and her store, Knickerbokkah Beauty Boutique
I'm particularly fond of the hair on this one :)

And one for Candy Acid :)

oh lordy, i did some small pixel sprites in university and they took long enough, i would have gone mad doing a larger piece like that!
it looks absolutely brilliant, how did your eyes hold up through all that??

My eyes are a bit messed up anyways . I've been near sighted since I was a child, but I've noticed a faster decline in my ability to see things closer to me if I work on something small for extended periods of time :(. Thankfully it's easy enough to zoom in close when it comes to digital art :)

That particular piece I actually spent more than a year working on to be honest x_x. It's the largest piece of pixel work I've done..I'm definitely used of working on smaller pixelled things that don't take NEARLY as long.
