Don't we usually have a Halloween thread going for costumes and what not? If not, I'd like to start one.

My costume this year was a little far fetched maybe to some, but it was a lot of fun to do! My boyfriend and I decided to be Toad Warriors from Super Mario, sort of Mad Max meets Tank girl. Our friend decided to hop on board and be our post apocalyptic, Fall Out style Mario. Here are the results:

So that happened.

I was Blind Mag from Repo! The Genetic Opera. I made the corset, and pattern myself. For a first go I think I did pretty well though I have learnt that faux leather is an absolute arse to work with.

There's my family, excuse the mess in the background. My hubby and I went to a costume contest after the kids were done.


Btw my daughter & I love the Coraline & other mother that's the most awesome mom/kid I've seen
