Current nails, Silver from 17 at boots & the purple in Nails Inc & was a birthday present. It's chipping, which is a first for me with false nails.



Previous nails were Models Own black with a Sparkle topcoat that made them blue/purple holo & that was from Superdrug

DSM..how do you buy your falsies and how do you attach them? i was working on growing out my own and all that but now i'm working in healthcare and can't wear even clear gloss topcoat, so i want to get falsies to wear when i go out all fancy. So many of the falsies i've seen are scary long wicked and curved..yours are nothing like that. (of course with my luck it will be a uk only brand or something)

They're "kiss" nails. You get 100 and the glue for about a tenner. I buy "square, sporty" which I think is a posh way of saying short.

I'm actually gonna change to tips once my current nail supply runs out in a bid to try an grow at least part of my own nails.

Has anyone tried thr new opi spotted?
It's like the crackle but an oil over water spot effect.
I finally got some by going in on a group order with some American polish fans as its a Sephora France exclusive
I already want to order more. You can get it on evil bay for £30-£40 per bottle eek but direct much cheaper €15.50 each

Argh Sarah I love pretty & polished! So bummed she has stopp international shipping on her polishes for now though

I have jawbreaker, galax-e, black swan & tuesday taurus from Chelsea, I got the last international shipping from her. Galax-e is the only one I have yet to use, the glitter is quite thick though & the polish is almost jelly sheer.

Before that I did a gradient, using model's own black & light grey.


Some "suede" polish, black & blue - these were AWFUL, I didn't do the infils properly but I fixed them - hence the gradient nails.

Are you into konad and other nail stamping plates?
I got an amazing indie one the other day from Nailz craze. It's better than the konad ones IMO. Loads bigger so actually fits nails. In her first plate there were normal nail sized stamps and ones for longer nails too

Apparently Barry M does a nice one. Mine is an indie polish from Pretty & Polished on Etsy, she no longer posts to the UK but http://shop.llarowe.com/main.sc does. The polish is called Galax-E (it's not there atm, but she stocks a smorgasboard of polish), I use it as a top coat as it's pretty sheer black & requires a good coat of seche vite afterwards.

Just bought the Barry M one. I usually find their polishes too thin but if I use it as a topcoat over a black base it should be fine Thanks both I need to remember to get a photo of my nails as they are at the moment. Did a gradient nail from a nude at the cuticle, fading down to black at the tips with about 4 shades of grey in between. Took aaages but well worth it, though I did get told today that it makes my nails look 'a bit dead and dirty'

Used L'Oreal Blue Marine, Kleancolor Teal Holo, striping tape, Models Own Black & Save The Nail Top Coat.

HUNGRY GLITTER IS HUNGRY. Seriously, 3 coats of topcoat & this is still grainy feeling :/

Everyone's nails look SO good! Question, how long does your nailpolish generally last before it starts chipping? I gave up on painting my nails years ago because it always seemed to start chipping after 2 days, max.
