I had some fun with nails.. its not very neat but i am still learning.. and i accidently cut my nails too short.

Hey Nanou - it is a skeleton leaf
i love embedding things in the acrylic and generally anything that will sit nice in there gets put in at some point - tin foil, peacock feathers, pheasant feathers, metal shavings the lot haha

Not today's nails, but from a few weeks ago instead. Green & purple leopard print nails. Done with OPI green and OPI purple, and black bits done with a nail pen from claire's accessories:

My nails are fake Debs so they don't chip. I find that the Avon one doesn't go shiny as quickly as the rimmel top coat & lasts a lot longer than MO matte black (I'm gonna take a pic as I've had this on my nails for 2 or 3 days)

Ooh, I bought that magnetized one on a whim the other day, not tried it yet but it looks pretty cool from your pic! How close do you have to hold the magnet for it to work? I have visions of the magnet getting polish on it & smudging my nails...

I hit my nail once, if you look on the lid there's a curved bit of plastic, just put that bit by the nail bed. I found the longer you leave the magnet over it the more distorted the polish becomes.

First try with 17 magnetized:
and then I tried mattifying it:
Pretty pleased with it, the magnet thing is easier than I was expecting, or perhaps I have a steadier hand than I thought!
