I have a Collection 2000 grey called Wham which is a really nice matte pale grey. I'll see if I can get a decent picture of it. The cog decals are awesome too

Barry M do a grey polish. I got it for Christmas but haven't had a chance to use it yet, planning to soon though so I'll try to get pics.

The Barry M one is really good. Took two coats for a nice even finish and it lasted a few days before it began to wear at the edges. I'm currently wearing a Rimmel nail varnish similar to that Gun Grey that Madii posted. Can't remember what it's called, but again needed a couple of coats for an even finish. Loreal do a really good opaque black and steel grey with tiny flecks of glitter, which have a great finish with one coat and dry in about 30 seconds. If you're into that sort of thing then I'd recommend those.

The Barry M polish is pretty much my go to daily shade, its just a little bit dark to use with the decals as they don't show up that fabulously on it.

Vex, you can get a polish in Superdrug called Gemstone by Andrea Fulerton which is almost exactly the same as the Nubar flaked topcoat, I bought it after falling in love with Nubar and not being able to get my hands on it locally. After trawling the net I found a few nail blogs recommending Gemstone as a dupe. Its even more gorgeous in real life, and cheap as chips too!

Wowzers, those nails look wicked, Nanou2! I might get myself down to Superdrug at some point to buy that cheapy one. I saw it before but thought it was just a metallic pastel yellow!

I'd like to get into painting my nails more. I used to do them all the time but work don't allow it. Regardless of this, I recently spent £25 on various blacks and greys (which pretty much all look the same  ) so I might as well get back into it!

Thanks for that. Still not sure I'd pay that much for it..would prob wear it twice then forget about it. Plus my nails aren't in great condition atm :/

Love the ladybug nails! French nails are always nice too. Search about sponge technic on youtube, there are loads of tutorials. :)

Cute!!

I am crap at painting nails. My cuticles are dry and all ripped up. I think I ruined them a while ago and am unable to fix them.. Any ideas? I use oil on them and tried cutting them off and even using cuticle remover. Should I just leave them?

Anyhow... Some nails lately

Nailene Manicure 2tone (Non name) And Sally Hansen silver (Not sure of name)

I spent an hour or so doing this funky design.. Then I used an old top coat Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps.. It totally ruined it! One coat made is bubbly and destroyed. ughh.. I removed it the next day. :(

Oooh I love the last polish!

And you shouldn't cut your cuticles, it just makes the problem worse (dries the nails also). Instead just try pushing them back gently with a orange stick. I sometimes put a lot of hand cream on my cuticles to soften them up and then push. Also I would recommend Sally Hansens's Vitamin E Oil. I'm not quite sure why, but it seems to work much better for my nails that the other products I used in the past...

Thanks for the tip! I bought a big bottle of vitimin E oil for $12, much better value than the little one of sally hansens. I will stop trying to cut them. They are so damaged. I will also try my best to not get polish on them

That is stunning and probably quite easy to do, I'm thinking she'd used french tip stickers to put at her cuticles and cover the silver base coat when she adds the black. I might have to give this a bash! I'm on a massive matte kick at the moment too so this is calling to me loudly.

Nails inc do one apparently: http://www.bathandunwind.com/brands/Nai ... Polish.htm

I had a matte black years ago & hated it. I'd put top coat on a few times to try & get it to shiiiiiiiine.
