Just trawled through the whole thread & all of this food looks deeeelish!!
Not today, but this is one of the best sammiches I have ever made/eaten in my life!
So simple but yummy! Granary bread spread with butter, lettice, honey roast ham, cucumber & tomato, smear one slice of bread with English mustard & there you have it! Would have liked some rocket on there too but I didn't have it to hand

Dinner from tonight: arayes and fattoush (basically Lebanese meat pies and bread salad). I didn't have any sumac so the fattoush wasn't as lemony as it should be, but it turned out pretty good overall

Tonight i had a couple of friends over for dinner, we had pork steak in apple, cider and cream sauce, roasted veggies (leek, carrots, new potatoes, onion) cooked in a golden syrup mixture with my first ever attempt at yorkshire puddings (yes i'm 31 and should have done this by now) Followed by a shop bought toffee cheesecake.
I'm so proud of the yorkshire puddings though, they were nice and crispy but still had a little bit of stodgey/yummy/awesomeness in the middle.

Today, I had a moment of complete madness and made... Meringue cupcakes!
With cherries in the middle! (They sank, I had too much milk in my cake mixture D:)

Dinner tonight: kushari. The bottom layer is lentils and rice, then there's macaroni in the middle, then a red wine vinegar/garlic/tomato sauce, and french fried onions on top.

ikickshins, your food always looks so different and tasty and interesting! I really need to make more effort in the kitchen. *puts the sandwich down*.

My breakfast yesterday:
Greek yogurt, black berries, blueberries, and chopped almonds, I have it in different variations quite frequently

New years day breakfast... A twist on EpicMealTime.com's "Angry French Canadians", made by my friend's housemate
Renamed "Angry Canucks", god they were so delicious, especially with breakfast beer!

Dinner tonight: avocado, cucumber, cherry tomato, and shallots in balsamic vinegar, and a little bit of pasta.
The salad's way better with red onion, but all I had were shallots. They work out okay as long as you slice them really thin.

Thanks! I watch a lot of cooking shows

A trial run - I've decided I want black & grey cake for my 30th in April. Turns out grey cake tinges green a little BUT the black cake was spot on. I just need to find my larger nozzle for the proper ones
To prove it is actually grey cake:

They are very tasty. Ahaha, thanks Zed. I don't actually know, but not everything I bake is such a success, I just don't photograph the flops! Richard said I should make doughnuts next!

I miss this thread and believe it's high time that it be necroed ;P
And so, egg muffins. They're not so much muffins as eggs poured in muffin tins (grease the tin, put whatever toppings/fillings you want in the bottom of each cup, fill them 2/3 of the way up with beaten eggs, then bake at 375 degrees Farenheit for 25-35 minutes). I guess they're kind of more like tiny frittatas?
They are best when loaded up with bacon and cheese, but I'm trying to be healthy so I filled these ones with red onions, green onions, spinach, and minced garlic.
