Finally contributing :3 (Dark red and black dreads!)

Forum rules
If it is fake hair related it goes in here!
1) Nice clear pic of the hair- we are not particularly interested in cam whoring - you want to show yourself off - put it in the gallery for 'everything else'.
2) When commenting - please be more OT than "wow you are freakin' hot!" We all like to be told we are hot mamma's - but mention the hair too!
3) Please don't be horrified if people give you helpful criticism. If you give criticism, please do so respectfully.
4) If you would like to NOT hear criticism, please say so.
5) If you are specifically looking to refine your technique, please post it in the "Critique" section (under Advice & Know How) so we can help be extra picky. ;)
6) The Show Off section is only for showing off hair, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

I think maybe I need to work on the loops. And with these I sealed the ends with a lighter :i7: Which I don't usually do, but this hair was hard to seal and it was dark so I figured I'd get away with it :p

They look really good! Your loops look fine to me. Honestly I've been making synth dreads for a few years and still don't think they can compete with some of the sellers out there lol you're probably your harshest critic though! out of curiosity, what shades of red did you use? & keep up the good work!

They look good. I think all the colors compliment each other.

Thanks ^_^ Well I tried :p
I originally made these for myself, and tried making them natural style dreads... but I can't make naturals to save my life :s I've tried it on 2 sets :x And I found out I hate this dark red on me!
So of course I just twist sealed them like the other set .-.

I'm looking to make a set very similar to this one very soon! How did you find the sweet red looked in comparison to natural hair dyes you've seen in your experience (manic panic or splat brands are what I'm familiar with). Also, was the goal for these to get natural blends? They have a nice candy cane texture to them but I"m not sure if that was intended or the hair just didn't want to cooperate and blend easily. Thanks!
