Flame haired lady!

Forum rules
If it is fake hair related it goes in here!
1) Nice clear pic of the hair- we are not particularly interested in cam whoring - you want to show yourself off - put it in the gallery for 'everything else'.
2) When commenting - please be more OT than "wow you are freakin' hot!" We all like to be told we are hot mamma's - but mention the hair too!
3) Please don't be horrified if people give you helpful criticism. If you give criticism, please do so respectfully.
4) If you would like to NOT hear criticism, please say so.
5) If you are specifically looking to refine your technique, please post it in the "Critique" section (under Advice & Know How) so we can help be extra picky. ;)
6) The Show Off section is only for showing off hair, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

Flame haired lady!

Post by ScarletLady » Sat May 14, 2011 11:43 am

I've been working on this set on and off for ages in between projects and I've finally finished it. It's a composite of scraps I had lying around and recycled dreads so I could create a set for myself (for when I got round to dying my hair red) for NO cost whatsoever (Thanks to Sarah for the dye!).

It is, from left to right, A bunch of recycled white dreads I'd worn before, re-felted and dyed red, 5 wrapped dreads (dyed red) which you may recognise (I managed to tie up the wrapped part and only dye the plain white bit), a bunch of straight red and burgundy dreads made from a random of scraps I found, Some red to orange and red to yellow felted trans, and some red to orange to yellow triple trans...

Some better pics of the trans so you can see the colour change a bit more

I want to...I'm a bit annoyed as my "red" hair has faded rather pinkish and I don't have money for more dye. I'll post a pic of the colour today. Plus I'm getting it cut before I put them in, but that's happening this week so it won't be long :D

And thanks everyone, I was really pleased with how they've turned out.

I'm not taking on orders at the minute as I'm still catching up on a couple of things I have to finish and I don't know when I'll have time (babies keep you busy!), so I don't want to put pressure on myself.

I may well do later in the year though, I'll drop you a PM if I decide to take any orders on :)
