My new loose jumbo braid fall in baby pink!

Forum rules
If it is fake hair related it goes in here!
1) Nice clear pic of the hair- we are not particularly interested in cam whoring - you want to show yourself off - put it in the gallery for 'everything else'.
2) When commenting - please be more OT than "wow you are freakin' hot!" We all like to be told we are hot mamma's - but mention the hair too!
3) Please don't be horrified if people give you helpful criticism. If you give criticism, please do so respectfully.
4) If you would like to NOT hear criticism, please say so.
5) If you are specifically looking to refine your technique, please post it in the "Critique" section (under Advice & Know How) so we can help be extra picky. ;)
6) The Show Off section is only for showing off hair, not making sales. Please make no references to eBay, A and P, or any kind of sales. You may offer the same item for sale in A and P, but no cross linking between A and P and Show Off. Show Off should be a place to comment and encourage each other; we don't want Show Off to become a billboard for sellers.

My new loose jumbo braid fall in baby pink!

Post by Siegelinde » Mon May 09, 2011 8:58 am

I whipped up a loose fall so I wouldn't have to tease my own hair as much. I'm really pleased with the color match, I just took some baby pink, fuchsia and the lightest blonde shade and tied sections of each to a hair elastic. Then some backcombing and cutting an it was done! It's still shedding some hair, but I'm hoping that will stop after some time ;)

Very cute! You look amazing and the colour really is perfect. I've started stuffing my hair with a ratty black KK fall when I do a beehive, saves sooo much time on the backcombing, I hear ya

Thank you both! I know it's not technically anything special, but I'm still very pleased with the result. I'm sure it will save me hours of time I'd normally spend either backcombing or untangling my hair ;)

Thank you all! I dye my hair with a mix of Directions lavender and carnation pink, mixing two parts of carnation to one part of lavender. The color looks like I wanted it after one or two washes, when it fades to a cotton candy pink. I'm still working on the formula, so maybe someday I'll get the right color straight away!
