Who doesn't think Luie is ace?!
Used to speak to her quite a lot a few years ago but then I managed to get with someone who didn't like dropping into Cyberdog so often so I didn't get to see her so much.
It's crazy how much of an inspiration she's been to me.
A lot of my inspiration comes from Japan. I can't get enough of these books, for example.

Mmm love Angelspit, a little too dark for me though ^^
Anyone else find it ironic they have a song called 'F*ck Fashion' (<3) but clearly spend a lot of time on it themselves

It's all about Japanese fashion! ...and the colour pink ^_^
Although if I'm in a more subtle mood I tend to go for the scene look, ashamedly so! But I just love all the colourful animal prints, the big hair, the bright clothes and the over-sized accessories!

My style crushes are all quite 'normal' but with a kinda dark twist to it...
Daisy Lowe, cos she does the kinda adorable, sexy, alternative but stylish look so well
Alice Dellal cos I love her kinda scruffy style and her confidence to turn up a a posh awards ceremony in DMs and manky denim cutoffs
Leigh Lezark is my current style obsession cos she looks kinda polished and I love her hair!

Re: Style Admiration and inspiration Thread
The girl that bomber posted looks very much like I did when I was 16. Then again it *was* 1989 and the heyday of glam My style icons back then were Lita Ford & and Mike Monroe. I did anything I possibly could to look like them
I did a lot of bleaching, crimping and smudging
Edit - although I would never have been seen dead in those sequins! Conchos and studs yes... but not sequins! I used to DIY all my stuff even back then and tie-bleach my denim jackets.
ahhhh....memories

Re: Style Admiration and inspiration Thread
I was a little indie kid back in the day, well at least when I was fifteen.
Oh my, the days of skinnies, maternity-like dresses and black bobs. I wish I had been something more interesting, but alas, no. ¬_¬
At least I grew out of it ^_^
