I think it's bloody cheeky to prey on low-income people too - why don't they do something to get rich celebs to give their money to charity.. they're the ones with all the money!
A sad fact is that people with low incomes give a much higher proportion of their money to charity than those on high incomes (the amount of money may be less, but the relative cost to them and their families is much higher). I guess it stems from the fact that if you've ever had to struggle in life, you have more sympathy for others who do.. but the people with money just sit there on their expensive yachts smoking cigars and going on about the tiny proportion of their wealth they actually bother to give away, like it's a badge of honour or something. ¬_¬
