My keywords would be: comfortable, lightweight and durable. The most out of control crazy gig I've ever been to was the Prodigy at a tiny warehouse in Brum. I wore a vest, 3/4 jeans turned up to the knee and Converse. Although I regret the cons because they were my sequinned ones and they got almost destroyed. But hi-tops make awesome gig shoes because they're going nowhere! And take a bag with a jumper in it and stash it in the cloakroom, you're reeeeally gonna want that jumper when you're soaked in sweat and it's cold outside!

Honestly, I don't bother trying to look dressy at a gig. I'm not saying I look like crap but a tshirt and jeans are your best bet. Even better if the jeans are skinny enough to roll up a bit when it gets reeeeally warm.

And if you have long hair/dreads FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TIE THEM UP!! Not only will it keep you cooler to have it off your neck, it means the rest of us aren't eating hair for the whole gig. I can't count how many times I've had a sweaty fat metallers dreads smack me in the mouth!!
Birthdays was the worst days, now we sip champagne when we thirstay.....

hmm Yeha for me its mianly who Im going to see.
Most times I like to stand out amongst the skinny jeans and tees so I wear a skirt with leggings or jeans and a cool vest.
And for the free lakefront shows I wea clothes thatll keep me cool cause for some reason on the water in the summer it gets hot so a skirt or UFO pants.

Mainly I dress comfortably...usually not so unusual but enough so that People can find me if they are looking for me.
