Traveling to Dublin -- Suggestions?
So I'm going to Dublin very soon, and I was wondering if any of you have been before and if you have any suggestions for things to see. Also, how will the Irish feel about crazy green hair?
Things I'm seeing:
Jervis Center
Jameson Distillery
Dublin Castle
Nassua Street
Grafton Street
Hill of Tara
Famine Statues
Howth
Botanic Gardens
Archaeological Museum
Irish music/dance
Dublinia
South Great Georges Street
Kilmanhaim Prison
Guinness Storehouse

Re: Traveling to Dublin -- Suggestions?
I had green roots when I went, and aside from being snapped in a few photos no one seemed to care.
I am big into gardening and pretty parks, so I really enjoyed St. Stephens Green and Merion Square. I also LOVED the Dublin Writers Museum. It is in a beautifully restored Georgian house. If you are into literature you may really enjoy it.
The Brazen Head, Kitty O' Sheas, and The Foggy Dew were fun pubs with good food.
Christchurch Cathedral is very cool to see, and I'm sure St. Pat's is too, it just so happened that when I was there back in 2008 there were doing restoration on it and I could not get inside.
