My upgrade isn't due until October this year and funnily enough it was the phone I've been given that I considered getting - however given a choice I'd have chosen the black one. I'm just gonna get a case for it, unluckily for me though that work don't sell them.

I have however made my phone screen all black and grey, so that's pretty awesome.

I'm due an upgrade in August. But i might switch contracts to another provider. it all depends what phones are around at the time that take my fancy. I'm hoping they'll be some nice shiny new releases by then :)

Our bathroom scales have broken and I'm not able to weigh mysefl to see how much i've lost. this angers me lol
I was also really shocked at the price of new bathroom scales, some of them extortionate!

Also, my OH has found a car hoorah! he picks it up Saturday, which will be 4 weeks he's been without a car. Soooo glad I don't have to be his personal taxi anymore.

I still haven't got myself any new bathroom scales, I just end up weighing myself when I'm at my best mates. I end up weighing myself once a month when we get back from whatever rave we've been at.

I need a new phone too. Mine is on its last legs, poor thing. I'm on PAYG though and they are more expensive than I can afford just now.

Today has had the elongated backside to end them all.
What, that? It's a spade.

if you've had your sim for more than 6 months you can use your phone number to "upgrade" to a different phone, as long as your sim is a uk network (orange, o2, tmobile etc) which can save yourself a fair amount of coin. You could get a phone similar to the one you have for around £40-£50 with an upgrade.

In hair related news, I've finally finished my roving dreads.....old school palm rolling! However, irony dictates that if I install em my dreads from Filty's synthetics will arrive tomorrow.

I have physio tomorrow & I can't remember what time I'm supposed to be there :/

Is now an appropriate time to gloat, that even though some days my job makes me want to set the shop & the staff on fire I can wear dreads, not remove my piercings & freely have my tattoos on show? No? OK, I won't.

I could "get away with it" in an office environment too. It's more down to the employer as opposed to the type of business. I've seen suit wearing, brief case carrying people with dreads before. We have dreadlocked nurses & teachers on here too.

Meh. People should just stop being so narrow minded about frigging appearances!!

I think I can wear my hair however I want and have piercings and tattoos on show. Nobody has ever said anything. But they offset it by making me wear a horrible black tunic made from dinner-lady fabric.

I have a lot of points accrued from my vodafone top-ups and I do intend to use them towards a new phone. I'm just waiting for the day when I can be arsed. i don't get excited about things like that. I'd be really shit at your job, Sarah.

*social media policy content removed*

Yeah, the uniform thing. Ugh. Mine is 2 sizes to big so I look like I've borrowed my dad's clothes or I'm a heifer trying to hide my lumps & bumps. Work people were stunned the first time they saw me in normal clothes. Yes, my uniform is baggy, it makes for moving around & climbing tote box mountains easier!

My excitement for phones & things lasts for all of around 2 minutes. "ooh, what's new? That it? Meh. *throws* NEXT!!"
However, my new £400 Nokia is rather swish.

Delightful, no?

However, you've already seen my plan to attempt to stop this hurting. I just need payday so I can go & sign up for the gym.

Sarah, does your GP surgery opt into the National exercise program? If so - you could get 6 weeks of gym membership on prescription. Might be a cheaper option - you could see if using gym equipment helps with your condition? I looked into it for my condition, but was then told that most equipment would exacerbate the problems - the best thing for me is the rowing machine and thankfully we have one of those at home (my other half is a triathlete and saved up to get one!).

I have no idea. However, I receive tax credits which makes me qualify for a discounted membership.

Edit - yes they do, but I don't qualify as I'm a "normal" size. You need a BMI of over 28 to get it.

Ah - the surgery I go to allows you to have the gym prescription as an alternative to chiro and physio - not just for obesity related reasons.

Nevermind - was worth a though! :)

I couldn't think of another way to describe it. I don't want to be toned, I want to be strong!

Same here :D

So it's your core you have to strengthen? I did weighted crunches the other day and that hurt like a bitch! I was messing about with one of those giant ball things (ha) but it ended in disaster!

Yeah, I was told your core is like your own muscular corset - in order to alleviate pain in that area, it needs to be as strong as possible.
