Third First Time at SE Dreads

Post by QuaffandHowl » Wed Jul 06, 2011 6:12 pm

Hello Hello!
I've been interested in Synth dreads for the longest time; I've tried two times before to make wearable falls and they weren't bad but I never confident that they were good quality.
However, I've decided to give it another go!
I'd ideally love to have my hair decked out in lovely SE's for the rest of my life! Or until I get tired of them!
Anywho! Here's pictures of my third first try:

Your trans look a little loose, but more back combing will fix that

Theese look really good! I think you could use a little more back combing on the solid pink ones and the black and pink blended ends could be a little neater, but you're doing better than I am! You have a full set! :) Very nice.

Thanks for the input guys! ^_^
I know I do get lazy when I've been backcombing for a long time but hey! The dreads are holding up alright! :D

I agree the solid pinks could use a little more backcombing, but as long as they are holding up! My favorite colors too :D Very nice!

Agreed about the trans looking loose, but otherwise looking good. Keep going!! If you want another place for info, here's my page about synth dreads: http://www.vixensingsblack.com/Guide/SynthDreads.html

I do agree with everyone, they look wonderful. The solids and transitionals appear to need more backcombing. For a nicely tapered dread, make sure the backcombing is even so there won't be any differences down the length of the dread.

Those blends are friggin gorgeous too!
