i used the hair iron and wet rag technique at first but i found that the flat iron/wet rag method worked better for me. i still need to seal the ends, which i figure ill do that last with a hair iron. this is my first time making dreads and i think i did an alright job...

very good job for your first attempt make sure you seal up the ends well so they don't unravel.

These look very good with a nice taper. Amazing for your first try. The only thing I see that you need to work on is making the taper even. But they do look really amazing for your first try. Great job!

I would just say, backcomb a bit more and keep the ends tight while your sealing them.
