my first crocheted transitions

Post by convenientlust » Thu Apr 07, 2011 9:16 pm

Hello all, so I finished up a bunch of orders and I finally had some time to tinker around ( and I've had lots of different red KK sitting around because the last 7 orders I've done have been based around reds of some sort >.< )

So I thought I'd make some crocheted dreads. I started off with Bright Auburn :

First experimentation with really blunts ends on crocheted dreads. Picture is cut off but if you drag it into your browser, you should be able to see the end.

But then I had some bits of Sweet Red lying around so I thought I'd extend the dread...

I kinda consider it tipped rather than full on transition, but I just want some input on how they look :) Thanks!

Oh wow, it's so good! I'd love to have something like that in my hair. Excellent choice of colours too :D

I really like the way it looks tipped rather than blended into the transition; it looks way more realistic that way. Nice job.
What, that? It's a spade.
