Maybe a new style made with scraps?

Post by Jynx » Mon Jan 10, 2011 8:39 am

I was clening up for the night, and I had a lot of kk scraps in various color and a few black se's that were too thin for my liking, so I made this dread up. I made in in about a minute, and the pics aren't too good, but tell me what you think!

That's really interesting looking! I bet it would make for some amazing camouflage dreads :)

How'd you do it? Just grab the lot of scraps and palm roll like crazy?

I backcombed the scraps, ripped em apart, palm rolled, and then wrapped small pieces around the dread. Then I felted and palm rolled again! There's a couple more things I'd like to do with this kind of technique, that I've done in all black already, but it will probably be a bit till I get another chance.

Wow I really love that! I think this would look great mixed in with an install of all black dreads in the same organic texture

That is a lovely idea on how to use all of the trimmed off hair bits that dont need to be thrown away. :D
