ive bought a load of mini crin and 5mm tubing to do my boys hair
he has adamantly expressed that he wants extensions, not falls (his hair is too short for falls anyway) and that he doesnt want his real hair to show, so im going to boxbraid all his hair and stick it inside the crin, nice and easy
the problem im having is the tubing, its too thick for me to tie it in like i was going to, so now im a bit stuck as to how im going to attatch it to his head
the only thing i can think of is to sew it into the braids or something like that, but im really nut sure as ive never worked with tubing before!
help will be very much appreciated!

Re: attaching thicker tubing
You can punch a hole thru the base of the tubing, thread a piece of rexlace thru, and then use that to braid into his hair.

Re: attaching thicker tubing
One way you can do it, would involve:
Cornrowing his natural hair into rows, then getting the tubing/crin and either using weaving thread or rexlace and sewing the tubing into the cornrows.
You can also use zipties to attach the tubing to the cornrows.
This method might not work depending on how much of his head he wants covered, because you need a good amount of tubing/material to cover up the cornrows/base hair.

Re: attaching thicker tubing
the best way I have found is to sew with a heavy duty needle - and the rexlace braiding Idea is another option.
