With corrugated tubing, I punch a hole in it then tie it on with rexlace.

Instead of using rexlace, you could also use cable ties

Re: How do I braid in tubes
i use a smaller tubing (1mm) and i braid that directly into my hair
i tie in the larger ones (2.5mm + 5mm)
however i find that i can even braid in the 2.5mm tubing with no real problem
you can use a double ended dread method, however i find with rexlace or a smoother tubing it moves around and bunches us, so thats rather annoying
i personally use the same method you would use to do braided extensions (box method i think ive heard it called) and just tie it at the end of your natural hair (of course)
for your heavier and stiffer plastic
its best to tie that into your other extensions
you will find that braiding those ones in will pull at your natural hair more and add -alot- of weight ( i usually only add my 5mm tubing when im going to the club or a special event, and remove them when im done) as even 20-30 feet at 15"(30" folded in half) can add a good couple pounds to your head, and when they are added to your actually 'braid' thats a large amount of pressure for a small area (= pain)
keeping in mind this is only what ive learned in the past 4 years
other people might suggest different stuff based on what they have tried
so try everything yourself before you make it your own
