ADVICE!!! TUBING FALLS

Good evening ladies, and perhaps, gentlemen,
I have a question:

What would be the best method to making a hair fall set entirely out of plastic and corrugated, perhaps spiral tubing, on an elastic strip?
I guess what I'm asking is what would be the best way to get good hair coverage without it weighing down the person's head?
I don't think volume would be an issue considering it's tubing.

Material layering Hehehe!

Spiral tubing (loom) is bloody expensive and heavy though. You'd be best off using tape curls (they're stronger than silky curls) or cutting straws through a pencil sharpener

Using enough material. And yes, layering. Making falls of tubing as a base material is hard and time consuming work - corrugated tubing need to be shaped and styled one by one, and it's good to use a lighter/softer material that falls more easily between tubing layers. I've tried foam, foam rubber cord, tubular crin etc. Foam looks best, crin maybe works best but makes the falls awfully expensive. Ma'am, I must say I adore your tubing falls and I see what you all mean by layering. It looks a lot easier to hold on the head that way, and they look really good!
I will have to try this. As soon as I finish a set, I will post pictures and let you all view! Thank you very much!
